What Does a Canine Physiotherapy Session Look Like?
Discussion
Each session begins with a detailed discussion. Prior to your appointment, we may have had a phone consultation, or I would have provided you with a form and a 'pre-session questionnaire' to gather essential information about your dog and their history. This initial consultation will be more in-depth, while follow-up sessions will focus on any new information, updates and progress.
Assessment
Next, I will conduct a comprehensive assessment, which includes gait analysis, palpation, and joint range of motion evaluation. This examination allows me to gain valuable insights into your dogs' condition and overall well-being.
Treatment
Following the assessment, I will provide tailored treatment based on my assessment findings and any specific goals we have discussed. Each treatment plan is customized to address your dogs unique needs.
After Care
After the session, you will receive a detailed write-up summarising the assessment findings and the treatment provided. If required, I will also prepare a veterinary report to share with other professionals involved in your dogs' care.

I encourage open communication and welcome any updates on your dog's progress or questions you may have following treatment. My primary goal is to ensure the highest level of care for both you and your dog with ongoing support.
